Church Selfie

As I scrolled through my timeline on Facebook this morning it was interesting to people taking selfies and videos at church. It's hard to see that this is what the place of worship has become. Prior to service it use to be handshakes and hugs with a bit of conversation. The older generation is from back in the is gone. Now our parents generation has taken over and they are to be the elders and go to people of he church to get things right and keep it in order but they barely say a word. They will say something behind closed doors instead of to the person's face. What happened to keeping real. Isn't this known as gossip? We all know they will put extra on it. The point is this: as adults we have to set good and better examples for the kids and youth in the church whether you're a member of the church or a visitor. The only way to keep kids motivate motivated, ambitious and determined about going and learning about Jesus in my opinion is by doing the right thing outside of the church as well as inside the church. A selfie may not always be the best answer but a hug to a child that you know gives them more encouragement than anything else. It will give them a smile to get their day or week started of it's missing from their home.
